Prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a new passenger train service between Khulna and Kolkata through a video conference, reports UNB.
India’s West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee also joined the inauguration ceremony online.
The leaders of two negibouring countries jointly inaugurated the end-to-end immigration and customs facilities for ‘Maitree Express’ and ‘Bandhan Express’.
They also opened the second Bhairab and the second Titas bridges to traffic
